It was billed as the Centenary Celebrations edition of the 2014 Nollywood Movies Awards night at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island - Lagos. The actors, producers, directors, and movie faithful filed past the "Red Carpet" into the events main auditorium. However, the star attraction right from the Red Carpet was a new face to Nigeria's movie making industry.
Zuriel Oduwole, at 12 years old was a fresh, young, bright, and eloquent attraction, from the moment she arrived early for the Red Carpet. A Special guest of the events organizers in recognition of her award winning documentary work in 2013 and her current documentary in production this year, she dazzled the cameras, wowed the anchors, and the whispers grew among the crowd with the recurring question "Who is that Girl". She was invited by many TV networks to speak to their audience, and inspire the children who would watch the feed.

Debut of Mt ZAAI
The hidden value of her appearances at various Lagos events was the informal debut of her and her younger sisters clothing style brand - Mt ZAAI. Consisting always of a head gear and colorful but trendy clothing and accessories to match, Zuriel rocked her selection to her Radio Interview on the TITI show, visits to many schools in Lagos including Corona School and Strait gate, and well as the Nollywood Movie Awards at the Intercontinental Hotel, where she was a major attraction.

Much More Than Meets The Eyes - Power & Influence
Beyond a pretty face with a pair of hazel brown eyes, tons of confidence and the giggles of a pre-teen girl, Zuriel is a lot more than meets the eyes. Featured in Forbes Africa Magazine in August 2013 as the youngest person in the world by that iconic brand at age 10 as a future leader, she was listed in New Africa Magazine in December 2013 as one of Africa's 100 Most Influential People of 2013. In April this year,  New York based Business Insider listed her as the most powerful 11 year old in the world, and she has featured on global and regional TV news programs, including the BBC and ARISE Global News.
Why all these accolades. It is probably because Zuriel at age 9 made her first documentary on the Ghana Revolution, interviewing both Presidents Jerry Rawlings and John Kufuor of Ghana for that piece. At age 10, she made her first award winning documentary about the 1963 OAU, and interviewed the Presidents of Tanzania, Malawi and Mauritius for that project. She has spoken to more than 14 presidents and Prime Ministers about her initiatives, interviewed Aliko Dangote, Rev Jesse Jackson, Venus & Serena Williams and other notable figures for her programs.

In essence, she is combining power with her new found fashion statement, by creating a colorful and playful ensemble of fashion ideas, called Mt ZAAI.
