Creative Director of Orange Culture and our very own Fashion Editor, Adebayo Oke-Lawal was in Paris this past February for the LVMH Young Designers showcase. He was one of two Africans and one of thirty applicants selected out of 2000 designers shortlisted with a chance to win the 300,000 Euros grand prize.

While in the City of lights, Oke-Lawal met with a remarkable class of international fashion stakeholders, including Karl Largerfield of Chanel and Fendi, Kanye West, world-renowned photographer, Patrick Demarchelier and even renowned Make Up Artist, Pat McGrath.

Orange Culture Nigeria has been invited to present a brand new collection to the field of international buyers, press and fashion lovers at the 2014 Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, Italy. It is one of the youngest brands to realize this feat.

Pitti Uomo is a dynamic showcase of highly creative projects featuring very select brands, special projects by top international designers, and premiere showings of women’s collections at Pitti W. It is a fair that uniquely interprets the myriad connections among fashion, design, food, sport, and new lifestyles.

Pitti Immagine Uomo, is a key international trade event showcasing men’s fashions and contemporary lifestyle trends and will be held in Florence from 17 to 20 June 2014.

Three years and four collections into his foray as a designer, Adebayo Oke-Lawal sure is ecstatic at this selection. The young designer needs you to help make his dream a reality.

Nice going Bayo ;) Go Orange Culture!
