Ferragamo's New Campaign Stars Royalty

Ferragamo launched a new handbag collection this past February, the Fiamma. It was named after Salvatore Ferragamo's late daughter, Fiamma. The handbag features rounded handles, lock closures and exotic skins.

 The accompanying campaign, which launches in full tomorrow, goes for a rather interesting concept rather than the same old boring idea of a model holding a bag.

The Italian house acquired a remarkable global and multigenerational cast of women to star in a series of film vignettes and interviews to showcase the collection.

The full schedule is composed of generations of Hollywood royalty, art world royalty, and well, actual royalty.

It includes: Sydney and Anika Poitier; Princess Patricia and Princess Mathilde Melusine Ruspoli of Rome; Flora Zeta Cheong-Leen and Claudine Ying of Hong Kong; Hanayo and Tenko Nakajima of Tokyo; Helena Bordon and Luciana and Marcella Tranchesi of Sao Paulo; Stella, Lola and Jacqueline Schnabel of New York, and Mariel and Langley Fox Hemingway
